Therapy with Me

Who do I work with?

I work with people ages 14 and up who are looking for support in working through difficult experiences in their lives and have a desire to make changes and find deeper understanding. I work with the LGBTQ+ community as well as individuals with trauma (including complex trauma and religious trauma), eating disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and relationship challenges.

How do I approach therapy?

I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to ensure that therapy is individualized for each client's needs. I use a client centered approach with a trauma informed lens while combining techniques from a variety of therapeutic methods to best ensure each client's needs are met. I approach challenges from the perspective of a mind-body connection and working to create balance in all areas of one's life. I utilize a Health at Every Size framework for all clients but especially when working with clients with eating disorders and other disordered eating challenges.

Why to start therapy?

Starting therapy can be a difficult and intimidating decision. I believe that therapy is client led and we will move through the therapeutic process at a pace that is most comfortable for each client. I look forward to working with you and providing the support you desire throughout the therapeutic process.
